About Park Edge Sweet Shoppe - Orchard Park
Since 1948, Park Edge Sweet Shoppe has been a Buffalo, NY favorite for freshly made sponge candy and handmade chocolates. A longtime South Buffalo tradition, you can now also visit us in Orchard Park, NY home of the Buffalo Bills GO BILLS.
We’re one of the only Buffalo chocolate shops still making sponge candy fresh several times a week, and proudly home of the original Buffalo sponge candy sticks.
Since 2011, sisters Anna and Maggie—bringing business and Culinary Institute of America expertise—have continued the legacy as third-generation owners.
In 2024, we expanded to Orchard Park on North Buffalo Road, making our small-batch chocolates and iconic sponge candy even more accessible across Western New York.

Super friendly staff. Clean and bright store. Great selection of high quality dark, orange and milk chocolate novelty pieces, as well as nonpareils and their famous bar shaped sponge. Love their sponge!!! Picked up my chocolate bunnies for Easter, but they are always prepared with many option for whatever the current holiday is. Also many Buffalo themed options.

If you’re not saying been there, done that… you’re missing one of the best chocolatier shoppes ever! The sponge candy ( especially the peanut butter ones ) are the absolute best I’ve ever had… And if you want to gift these chocolates to family or friends, they ship ! I’ve shipped some varieties of chocolates to my daughter in law in Texas and she LOVED it.

Fully addicted to the popcorn & sponge candy sticks. The sticks are the superior sponge candy in WNY because of the softness and texture, the shape of it being a thinner stick makes it so the chocolate and inside doesnt make a mess all over your clothes and area in comparison to the original square sponge candy. That's why I am obsessed. Thank you Park Edge. -E

I bought a variety of sponge candies and chocolates from a fundraiser -- all from Park Edge Sweet Shoppe. Everything was fantastic and I can't wait to visit the actual store next time. HIGHLY recommend the peanut butter or dark chocolate sponge candy -- both were the best I've had.
